The Actual Twitter Board

We are up and tweeting! This has been a great way to get end of the day thoughts in for our closing. Since we are going to work on the concept of time, I am thinking I might have students write the time that they write their tweet underneath their text. I really appreciated the text above that says, "I WANT SUMMER!!!" I am on the same page.

  1. That is too neat! I want to learn about twitter, just so I can use this idea!

  2. What a fun idea for a class room! My son just started kindergarten and seeing so many great ideas online makes me really hope his teacher is as creative as all of you teacher bloggers!

  3. i teach 6th grade in a middle school. we switch classes so we couldn't do anything so large (i have 150 students!) but the concept would be great for out exit cards or post-its!

  5. Very cool idea! I'm a big fan of getting the kids acclimated to the virtual world around them. My 8 year old is a computer lover and even the 3 year old... well, let's put it this way: The first thing he says to me EVERYDAY when I walk in the house is, "Dad! I wanna play the iPad!"

  6. Is what they write on laminated? What kind of markers did you use? I love your idea!
